It's Friday!

Friday is the most expected day of the week. Although are only one week away from Christmas break, we still having a busy week. Here is a list of all the events that we had this week:
On Monday, is the beginning of the week and all the students are tired because is Monday. It was a nice day, with a nice temperature. Many students were expecting snow.
On Tuesday, what many were expecting finally came... SNOW!!! but it was just a little precipitation. And in the evening started to rain.
On Wednesday the weather went crazy!! It was cold, very cold and windy, very windy. In the afternoon started to snowing but the WIND took away the snow.
On Thursday the temperature went down. It was very cold in the morning, that the water that was on the street was frozen.
On Friday the weather was more like Thursday but it was colder. It looks like the snow in not coming down today, but who Knows.
So! enjoy your weekend and be safe.

Starting with the Right Foot

Last Saturday, November 28 the Girls Basketball team defeated the visitors (Deer Park) at home. With a score of 54-15 the Lady Indians started their season with the right foot. With Mr. Morgenroth as their coach the girls seem to have a good season. People in the hallway are talking about the game, Sophomore Diontez McGee says, “I think that they are a good team, they defeated the team with a high score, and they seem to have a lot of potential.” It seems that this year is going to be a good year for the girl’s basketball team. The Most Funny of My Friends :)

Pedro is one of the most funniest persons that I ever have met. Pedro was born in Mexico, and he is very proud of being a Mexican. If you are in a bad mood, or you aer depressed or you feel lonely, Pedro can make you smile in just a matter of seconds. He just Know how to make someone happy. The way he dresses up, the way that he walk, and the way that he speaks, are only a few qualities that make him being UNIQUE. He is a very charismatic person and he is really smart in Science. Sometimes he just keep asking questions that seem that don't have an answer and some times he just laugh to himself and that supprissed me a lot. Almost everyone knows Pedro or sometimes he call himself Pablo.? Pedro is one of my best friends, because I liked the way he is.

My Best Friend

Silvia Aceytuno was born in September 23, 1993, in Guatemala. Silvia is one of the few Hispanic persons that the Norwood High School has; including me; and she is my closest best friend. She likes to watch cartoons; "I love sponge bob squarepants:)" play video games and play soccer. Last summer, me and Silvia, were supposed to go to the practices of the Norwood High School girls soccer team. but I just showed up one time, and she showed up like 6 or 7 times. After that she got tired and we did not make it to the end. Silvia started t be my friend since we were in 7th grade, together with Paula; whe n she was still here, we all three were best friends. But now that she is far away from us two, we had become very close to each other. Silvia is very funny, and a really good friend when you need one. Silvia Aceytuno is a really good person, and very truthful friend.

Tahiri Armenta, was born in Mexico City, Mexico. she is on of the most funny persons that I have ever met. she is 17 years old and she used to play for the Norwood soccer team. Now she is a goal keeper in the Norwood reacreation and Kentucky Fire Birds team. She Can not live without her celllphone, ( Not the Only One) and without music. She likes Scremo, Rock, Punk, and Hispanic Music. She likes to watch "The Real World" on Mtv.

She likes to practice soccer, in her free time. She Also likes to text her best friends and spend a lot of time talking to them.

Her Best Friends are; Kayla Angel, Megan C, Chrissy Stacy, and Me... :)

She is very nice person(When she wants to be) In fact she is a kind person.

Teacher Of The Month

She is the smart, nice, funny and good teacher. she was born in Cincinnati, Oh. She went Bowling Green State for undergrad and Ohio State for graduate school. GO BUCKS!!

Ashley Martin, better known as Mrs Martin is the Newspaper and English 9th teacher, Martin is an excellent teacher and very clever. Mrs Martin married her soul mate during summer of 2009. "but I didn't take my husband last name!" says Martin...

She likes to read, play the piano, great papers and watch "Gossip girl" :)

She is very kind and really helpful teacher when you need some one to help you with English homework and Grammar. This is Mrs Martin the teacher of the month...

Mr Lawler

He is the most funny History teacher in the Freshman Academy...

And the answer is Mr. Lawler... :)

Devin Lawler born in Cincinnati, OH and was raised by Irish wolves when he was just a baby.

Later on he adopted the name of Mr. Lawler in the Norwood Freshman Academy. There he met the person that was going to be his best friend, Mr Ruoff. "Oh! I miss him a lot," says l Lawler after Mr Ruoff moved. Mr. Lawler went to UC, but he bleeds Blue (Xavier). He has been teaching 10 years. In his first year he taught English literature, after that he changed to the subject of Social Studies. He has been the couch of the Soccer girls team for 9 years. He has been in 17 different countries. He has 2 beautiful daughters of the ages of 3 & 1. He likes to play soccer and listen to music during his free time. Silvia and Me are his favorites students.

He is short in stature, but big in heart...

Mr. Ruoff the friend behind the teacher. :)

Tim A. Ruoff, better known as Mr. Ruoff was born on March 7th off 1980, in Cincinnati, OH. He Attended to UC, there he had 2 Bachelor's deggrees and 1 master's degree. After that he started to teach in Norwood schools. First in the Freshman Academy, teaching 9th English A and AA. There he met another great tenacher... Mr Lawler a modern history taecher, they have been very good friends since they met. Another best friend of MrRuoff is Mr. Schember a Middle School Science teacher.

After a few yaers Mr. Ruoff moved from the freshman academy to the Norwood Hihg school to teach 10th and 11th English clases. He is a really nice person. He is nice, creative, funny and very TALL. Mr. Ruoff's Favorite book is The Wind Up Bird Chronicle by Huraki Murakami. His hobbies are to play softball, READ!, home inprovements, and Spend time with his kids.

And that is the friend ehind the Teacher.
